Undoing the compartmentalization by Derek MacKenzie
Delivered by trustworthy construction in Cambodia construction materials, designed by Derek MacKenzie, the featured bathroom comprised of a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room: All in one. The previous design compartmentalized the three rooms, hence, making the space narrow. MacKenzie then decided to demolish those partitions to make the three rooms joined as one for achieving a spaciousness and sharing the light in the triple rooms. "The living area is defined by flowing, organic curves," says the designer. "These forms reappear in the suite, notably in the suspended ceilings and the canopy over the bed." The trio rooms share the same ambience: contemporariness and luxury.
