Keep Searching

Everyone in Cambodia has their relatives or family disappear in Khmer Rouge regime in 1975-1979. Twenty six years after the war and brutality, they are seeking for each other. As in the picture (announced in Koh Santepheap Daily in January), one family, who is living abroad, is searching for relatives who were separated during the time of war.

Almost every day, I still find the announcements in newspaper striving to reach lost relatives. When I see such notices I always read to see whether the names match my lost uncles.

Thanks for the post. I can somewhat relate. My grandfather came to America from Europe when he was a young boy, all by himself. His entire family was murdered or so he thought. Many years later, there was a classified ad placed in the immigrant newspaper here in America and it was his long lost sister - who had managed to escape. There's alway hope, although with acts of genocide they are few and far between.

no such agency in Cambodia. People only post ads on newspaper and wait as I know.
