Long-distance Learning Starts in Cambodia
Starting in late April, Cambodian students can study for a Bachelor's degree via the internet. The program is called Long-Distance Learning. The program was created by the International Institute of Cambodia (IIC) with the cooperation of the Community Information Center (funded by The Asia Foundation). The US Agency of International Development is funding the program throught The Asia Foundation.
Students can choose from five courses taught in Khmer: Marketing, Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance and Banking. It operates in 22 provinces.

That's really a good idea. In Australia, this kind of learning is called corresponding education. It does benefit the society esp those who find it hard to travel to study either in school or uni. I am so happy that Cambodia has this kind of education system. Thus, I believe that Cambodia is approaching towards prosperity ;-)
